Calne Bed and Breakfast - close to Avebury and many of the attractions in this most special part of Wiltshire.
Whatever your reasons for needing somewhere to stay, Calne is a small Wiltshire country town, convenient for many others, and I like to think I have made Calne Bed and Breakfast a friendly, comfortable, quiet B& B to stay in. I am located just five minutes’ walk from the centre.
You may be just passing through on a work-related trip or perhaps meeting up with friends or relatives. Maybe you intend to visit the many megalithic sites in the area such as the world famous Avebury Henge with its three Stone Circles, plus Silbury Hill and West Kennet Long Barrow. I am also 5 miles from the station at Chippenham and 18 miles from the beautiful Georgian city of Bath. The Kennet and Avon Canal is nearby and runs through the lovely market town of Devizes, 7 miles away. Marlborough is just beyond Avebury and, apart from being a very beautiful town (also with a market) has some wonderful clothes shops and restaurants.
Calne B&B is in a very good position for seeing these interesting places, whether for just a night, a
week-end, or longer.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome, however please discuss this with me at time of booking.
What our guests have said
Gwyneth delights in making your stay an enjoyable one. She provides all the comforts of home so willingly and on top of that is prepared to share with you her considerable knowledge and experience of Crop Circles. It is a perfect and reasonably priced place to stay for Avebury, Stonehenge and the Crop Circles. Ann - Hay on Wye
